Magi Shopping

In middle school, I participated in Magi Shopping. Magi Shopping is when you but Christmas presents for families that can't afford to buy them themselves. The whole middle school went to Super Wal-mart and spent their own money that they saved up to help the families. Each group is assigned to a certain family member. They buy the things them things that they need, and wrap them to put under the tree. I am glad I helped with the Magi shopping, because it was a fun and for a good cause.

Vacation Bible School

In 2007 I helped the First Baptist Church with their Vacation Bible School program. The theme was power lab and the kids got to pretend to be scientists working with chemistry. It was very fun for them and they leaned about God while they were having fun! It also helped me learn about God and Jesus, and have patience with children. I am glad I helped The first Baptist Church work with the first grade students, and I will definitely do it again sometime!
